You waited too long? Why don't you apply for CAIPS notes?

Hello,
I hope you all are staying healthy and hopeful. I know many of you are frustrated over the wait time. Instead of contacting IRCC or Embassy, why don't you apply for the CAIPS notes to see if there is any progress/decision for you? You do know that you can get the CAIPS notes at any point after having the File number, right?
I am not affiliated with any CAIPS notes services so you can Google for one.

Instead of getting a generic answer, you can at least know where you are stuck at: criminal check, assessment, passport request...
Of course for those applying on papers or embassy abroad, time to get the notes would take longer than applying online.

from what i understand isn't raising an webform necessarily the same thing as asking for CAIPS notes?

I don't think so, the CAIPS notes will contain way more information like who is actually processing what, what are the due dates of actions, office transferring...
