Hi again
I was told to stay in Quebec and nothing will happen if I move to a different province, this is for the initial start. However, no one give me a correct answer I don’t think there will be a problem because the PR card will be ready by 4-6 weeks as mentioned. Am moving to a different accommodation next week so I’ll keep my experience you updated with the PR card.
Regarding jobs, depends on your profession and field of interest. If you want business then this is the best place for you, medical directions as well etc. For me am applying for certain jobs as no one can offer me any job easily, personally I don’t like business. Am a university professor and a scientist in computational and applied mathematics, UK experience and graduate, European experienced as well but I can’t speak French which is very important. I did one half year course in Amman but they are useless, even the language certificates I don’t, and they don’t, believe in them. Here people will consider your level of communication in French not in GRADS then they’ll look for your English-which is the language for; SORRY. Universities are in shortage in many fields but seems that they don’t have funding for research and employment, they’ve very very old system and no new staff in many fields, I’ll keep you updated in this. So depends where I’ll get a job may be east or west it will be clear soon or may be abroad!
Yes mef am a Jordanian and I love traveling, having different experiences and I strongly believe in diversity. I got a request after 3 weeks of my medical. My medical requested 2 weeks after the final update to the embassy in Damascus.
Rodney, I can’t suggest anything but I know that if you’ve a PhD then this is it. Just apply to save time trust me this is the best thing to do.
Montreal and I think Canada is absolutely wonderful. At the end of the day depends on your needs. I can tell the system here is 100% not 99.9%, better than any country even Scandinavia region or any region, SORRY. It is very helpful in a human way, people are very helpful and understandable. I can tell you that this is the country for rising kids or family i.e. you better come here with your partner and kids. As I said am posting my experience, everything in here support families even singles such as me but there are too many things to do for families in which I don’t look at it; hope everyone know what I mean!
This is my email. research2phase@yahoo.com feel free to drop me a line and I’ll do my best to get back to you ASAP.
I strongly advise everyone to keep this discussion moving on specially for the Quebec applicants and all applicants as well, it is really worth it. Can I suggest everyone to Google anything in mind and keep reading about Canada or the place you want to stay in a regular basis. I’ve not done because of my regular traveling and I really should have done it
Wish me the best of luck then, in a daily basis please -
