Thank you for being so initiative and helpful, that's the spirit we all share in this forum.

So, how was ur trip to snatch the CSQ??

How things are going on your side my friend?

Hello my friends,
Every year, the federal recruits thousands for new or vacancy positions. Well in order to get recruited, you have to visit "Careers in the federal public service", subscribe and apply for positions that you think you are qualify for and take the federal exams (I am not sure if you could do this from outland). These exams have nothing to do with your majors and sometimes can be very difficult to pass. Three weeks ago (Nov. 6th), I took the Graduate Recruitment Test, Written Communication Proficiency Test as well as Situational Judgement Test. The marks are in and I did great. If you are inland and would like to apply please visit: http://jobs-emplois.gc.ca/psr-rp/index-fra.htm.
Wish you guys all the best.
Cheers,

Hi guys,
How is evrybody doing? I am feeling so happy today ;D. I received my med request today from VO Kuala Lumpur. I hope to undergo the exam b4 New Year.

@beauhoe, how is everythng on ur side? I have been looking at the "apartment for rent" online in the area of hull. However, i found that there r mostly houses to rent near the Ottawa-Hull border. The high-rise apart r like more thn 8 kms to ottawa such as Jacques Cartier or les jardins radissons apartment. Can u suggest an area in Hull which is good for families and near to ottawa like such as rue lois, rue frontenac, etc.
However, i am also considering Aylmer since I read its a very pleasant place for families and more anglophone. I am definitely considering Gatineau as destination if everythng goes well.
Regards
Shahzad

Did your degree is in distance mode ? there is doubt in getting points from distance mode degree. I did MScCS from same university. and I don't know they will give me points for my master degree or not so I didn't forward my document till yet. If you have any idea about distance learning degree then lets share.
thank u

Hi beauhoe,

how are you doing? I am waiting for PPR from the VO Malaysia and I am hoping to travel to Canada by April 2011. I have decided to stay in Hull and I have been looking at apartments online such as "Faubourg de l'ile" and "le 700 Boulevard Joseph".I will really appreciate if you can guide on the following:
1. Are there any other high rise apart in the area near rue lois and before rue charron which is in suitable for family? My budget is $700 including everythng for a 3 1/2 apart.

2. Since I will be staying in Hull, I am planning to Land in ottawa instead of montreal. Will my landing procedures be completed there? Will there be any issues if I land on this side of Canada? On my initial application, I mentioned montreal as my final destination but now i have changed my mind. Is there MICC office in Hull? Did u land in Ottawa or Montreal?

3. Are there options of B&B or short term accommodation in Hull? Like $300 for one week furnished one. I want to book one before travelling as I will be travelling with family. I have a 2 yrs old daughter.

Sorry to bother you with all these questions.
Regards
Shahzad
