Im sponsoring my wife within Canada and I was wondering if being apart of the YMCA Access Program could hurt my changes for being accepted as a sponsor?

The YMCA Access Program allows people to get a discounted rate for the YMCA if your low income.

Unless I have completely misunderstood the sponsor requirements, I really really doubt that it will hurt your chances in any way.

The YMCA discount program only shows that you make under a certain amount of money. All the CIC cares about is that the government hasn't and wont be giving you and your wife money. There is no requirement of income level to support your wife. Just prove that neither of you wont go on welfare and you'll be all set.

MY VISA WAS REFUSED BECAUSE THE VISA OFFICE SAID THAT HE IS NOT CONVINCED THAT WE ARE HUSBAND AND WIFE.
SO MY HUSBAND DID APPEAL TO SECTION OF IMMIGRATION BUT UP TO NOW NO RESPONSE AND THIS ONE YEAR SINCE HE SENT THE PAPER TO THE SECTION OF IMMIGRATION FOR APPEAL. MY QUESTION IS TO KNOW IF WE CAN CANCEL THIS APPEAL AND START THE NEW SPONSORING? ANYONE WITH AN IDEA PLEASE TO HELP US

you can start a new one - and in fact you should start a new one rather than appealing but unless you can show something different that proves your marriage is genuine then you will be refused again

IRCC maintains all the records of previous applications. You would need to be honest about your refusal on the new application. Unless you can address the reason the refusal of your first application, the result will likely be the same....a refusal. Consider very carefully before withdrawing your appeal. the appeal process can take a lot of time.

I would suggest you move your post and questions here:

Honestly I would advise you to consult with a few good lawyers before you do anything. You need qualified, experienced advice on what your appeal chances are before you do anything. Order the GCMS notes to get a better understanding of the refusal before you visit a lawyer. Don’t make hasty decisions. As knowledgeable as many of the forum members are, they are not legal professionals.

1. As an aside the comment by chinesecanadia87 is not really good advice, the OP should read the definition of "res judicata" and do a search at https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/irb/index.html with "res judicata"
