I couldn't get a definite answer about who needs to fill this form out. Here's my situation:
I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my common law partner and we have a baby together. The baby is Canadian and not involved in the sponsorship aside from of course, being a dependant of both of us. The instructions indicate both the main applicant (him), spouse and dependent children should fill this out but I realise this form is also used for people immigrating through different ways other than family sponsorship and that might be the reason for why this mentions spouse and children.
So: do I need to fill out this form for myself and/or for our Canadian baby daughter?
