All Yemenis who reside in Canada and have applied for PR after express entry, Can you please add your time line.

My application was received on December 16th, 2015. I will be completing 11 months next week.

I was wondering if CIC is trying to contact the Yemeni government for BG checks. If that is the case then given that Yemen is in civil war and the government is almost non functional, I might never get my PR.

I personally haven't applied yet, but I am worried about what the repercussions of the war will be :'(
 
If you have the points. just apply. There is no point delaying applying. all we can do is wait.

From my GCMS notes, It seems I have been at security checks for at least 4 months now so that's why I'm worried they are trying to check with the Yemeni government which means it will be a while for everyone.

Oh my God ! that is not good news at all !

I am a Yemeni born in Yemen and lived there until I was 19. Standing at 467 now and was hoping it will just take 6-7 months for processing after I apply (which I am hoping will happened in couple of months).

I'm also in the same boat. I was in Yemen until I was 18. and have been in Canada since 2008 and have not even left Canada once.

my points were 464 and I got invitation 2015 November.

I also moved here in 2008! Although I was 15 at the time.

I'm currently at 458 without an ITA just yet, but my company is helping me apply for OINP. Hoping for the best. Please do keep us updated!

Did you have to submit police certificate from Yemen when you applied?
