My wife is pregnant and declined X-ray during medicals. Doctor gave me X-ray deferral letter and when I asked medical report for remaining tests he said won't be ready till she completes X-ray. Today I got an email from CIC asking me to submit spouse medical exam proof within 14 days. my doctor works with emedical. Please advise.

The doctor doesn't give you the actual medical report. They give you a receipt, which you need to submit to IRCC.

How did your process go? You had to wait till you complete the x-ray after pregnancy?
Yes. We took x-ray after pregnancy. CIC will finish all the background checks during that time. But once pregnancy is over CIC will ask you to submit baby passport and medicals and add them to the application.

I have the same situation. Did CIC put your application on hold? Or they keep process everything else?

In my case they processed remaining things. Because when I submitted my wife and baby medical report - I got passport request in 3 days. So it looked like all process is completed. YMMV

Hi,

I am into same situation like yours and need your advice to clarify some doubts. Post pregnancy, IRCC has now requested for baby's medical exam and payment receipt ($150) which are completed.

The concern is that in the submitted application, there is a new placeholder to upload the payment receipt but no placeholder to upload eMedical exam receipt which I received from panel physician.

Where should I upload that? Should I separately raise CSE to provide eMedical exam receipt?

Also after uploading & submitting the payment receipt, the application status says "Your action is required" whereas usually it changes to "Submitted" whenever we make certain change.

Thank you.

I am in the same situation?
Does the application continue to move on for principal applicant and on hold for dependent (pregnant) or its on hold for everybody?

Not sure why that matters. Until all members complete their processing nobody will receive COPR.

Even in a family each person is processed as an individual. If your spouse is listed as accompanying your application will be on hold for a certain amount of time until hers get processed.
