wrong refusal letter

hey guys....i'm in very tense situation right now...i receivd my passport on saturday and when i opened the envelope, the refusal letter was on the name of some other guy....ever heard before of a case like this?
I mailed CHC regarding this and is waitting for reply....
Please give opinions frnds..,,
i don't know if it is done mistakenly..
No stamp on passport and wrong refusal letter..

For refusal they never stamp passport , but wrong letter is very strange. Just email them and wait, hopefully the reply will be in your favor..........
 
thanks momi....but what does this mean? Is my file refused or this happened by just mistake?
What's the first thing which strikes your mind after reading my case? Is it a refusal?

Can't comment on that may or may not be but hope for the best.......

This is strange. They should have matched the name in passport with the one on the refusal letter. You have done the right thing by emailing them now let's hope for their reply.

The two doubts are whether they have mistakenly addressed the refusal letter to someone else's name or they have sent wrong passport on wrong address with a refusal letter. The later is less likely but let's wait for the reply if they do.

yeah inam bhai.....the passport was also mine....sent to my address....i don't know what they are doing....

do you remember the procedure he followed after he got the wrong refusal letter? Did he get a call from CHC?
Please explain everything and his profile...anything you could remember please....
 
Hey @raman, did u receive a text message that ur passport is dispatched..?? Also did ur status change in VFS tracker..??

yes nandu...i received the message and status also changed in VFS tracker....
