Wrong Port of Entry letter?

Hi there!

I applied for my working holiday visa a few weeks ago and was notified yesterday that my application has been approved.

I received my Port of Entry letter today, but it doesn't seem to match what I expected for an IEC application. It mentions how I can work in Canada for 'up to four years cumulatively', and it has the code IMM 5812 at the bottom rather than IMM 5665, which is the correct code for an IEC POE letter I believe. I have contacted CIC, I think through the correct channels, but was wondering if anyone would be able to clarify this for me and hopefully put my mind at rest!

Thanks very much in advance.

I'm in the same situation as you, so is another friend of mine. Please let me know if you have resolved this yet? It looks as though this letter will allow us to obtain a work permit but I am concerned as it is not an IMM 5665.

Hi
The same thing has happened with my daughters IEC work permit with receiving a letter IMM 5812 which is different to what we expected.

Please let me know how you went at border security.

Hi,

Does anyone know if this is normal and if these letters are acceptable? i have received the same as above and worried that nothing on the letter states POE letter or LOI. Has anyone had any issues getting a work permit using this letter? I have emailed IEC but had nothing back
