Just realized that instead of putting yahoo.com.ph on the application, we only placed yahoo.com. Unfortunately, emails wont go to that address. I cant set up an account under that address as it wont let me.

I am very worried that we wont recieve the passport request or any communication. How do i notify them of this email problem?
 
Happened with me, although it was immigrations mistake as they put the wrong email. I had to suffer delay and lot of communication headache and regardless of having it corrected, they ignored the correct email
Anyways, try and get in touch with the office to correct this asap

Have you tried sending an email to your yahoo.com only account? What I know is it's the same, but not quite sure though.

Can you create that account now if no one else has the username? Might be the easiest fix.
 
Wont let me create a new account because it says its already in use. Does anyone know if i cancel the yahoo account, can i make anew one right away with the same extension?

try sending the sane email at your e.add first for ex. thekindofguy@yahoo.com.ph & also thekindofguy@yahoo.com. Now check if it will get your email.
 
I have noticed that march applicants are now getting ppr and I am starting to panic. I was unable to resolved the email extension issue.

Will the passport request get sent to myself AND my wife or just to my wife? How can I contact manila and ask them to update this?

passport request are sent to both applicant and sponsor
 
marcjd - Thanks for the quick response. That is a weight lifted off my shoulders.

Unfortunately, Canada never sent me a sponsor approval letter or email. I had to contact them one month after the normal approval time and it was only then that they responded to my request and sent me an email notification stating that I had been approved.

Freaking out a little because I am seeing march PPR's
 
For those in the future who have the same problem;

1. Note that a ppr was NOT sent to both the applicant and the sponsor.
2. I emailed manila visa office with an updated visa extension and the ppr got sent to the new email address.
