I have same issue and this is a common mistake CIC does. You can correct it while landing. I am planning to land in jan 2016.simoncanada said:i have a question:

oomuchi said:Hi,
In my COPR last entry date and original entry date are blank and while I was landing at rainbow bridge (Jan-09-2016) , the agent didn't accept to add the right information.
Do you know if it will be a problem? How I can change it now if we need to do it.
Thanks in advance.
I provided all the info to avoid any mistake or misunderstand. Also, I have sent a copy of I-94 with all dates plus my copy of Work Permit. So hey can use any of them as last entry.Quink said:What should the original entry date actually be? Is the the very first time you ever set foot in Canada? Is it the first time you entered on status other than visitor?
I have a similar problem, but I've been waiting until I got my PR Card before I did anything about it (the entry dates aren't listed on the cards so it doesn't matter). I didn't want to risk delaying the card for any reason. Now that I have it I need to fix my CoPR.
Also, in the Request to Amend the Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or 5688) or Valid Temporary Resident Documents (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1436E.pdf) do you only fill out the sections that are incorrect, or do you need to provide ALL the details again?
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Right now it doesn't really matter, but if Trudeau changes things back to the way they were previously I'm going to want that time in Canada to count.oomuchi said:I sent what they requested in the email received from CIC to avoid any future problem for citizenship.
yes! that is my idea tooQuink said:Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Right now it doesn't really matter, but if Trudeau changes things back to the way they were previously I'm going to want that time in Canada to count.
Hey guys, i am wondering if you guys had your amendment process completed and if any of you had any problems with it or impact on your PR. Especially if you found errors after landing.oomuchi said:yes! that is my idea too
