wrong "city" on place of birth in NSO marriage certificate

Hi!
I've read the forums and looked for a "typo on marriage certificate" but their situation is different.
The "place of birth in our Marriage Certificate" under my name is Consolacion Cebu Phils which is a district of cebu city while the "place of birth in my Birth Certificate" is Cebu City Phils. All else are correct. Will this be a problem during the process or anytime in the future? A bit worried, please help thanks a lot!

Attach an explanation to the forms, pointing out the two places, and explaining that one is a district of the other. Include proof - maybe a map, or encyclopedia entry.

no need to worry, no problemo in your situation...
in the birth cert, they just put the city or town and province while in your MC, its the exact address because you filled the exact address when filling your application for marriage license...
also, your application will be reviewed here in the phil., so they know how it works....

so shall we proceed and continue to submit the application without the correction then? is the difference of place of birth between MC and BC wont cause delays or problems? Sorry, i just wanna make sure because we would like to submit our application this May. We just cant wait to be together..

Same problem here..my place of birth in my birth certificate was ''quezon city, philippines while in my marriage certificate was ''caloocan city'', which is my hometown. Do you think it will be a problem or hurdle on our application? My wife is the principal applicant.

I do not think it will be a problem, but I would attach an explanation. As an above poster said, the visa officers in the Philippines should be aware of these things, but I would explain just to be sure.

Hello me and my wife also got a problem about my place of birth. Because i was born in mati,davao oriental and my place of birth on the marriage certificate is cebu city. How should we do this?
