Wrong Address Shown

Hi Guys,

I have a question for you.. Hope anyone post the reply ASAP..
My question is: When I login to check my wife application status. My current address is completely wrong like I was living at that address like 7 yrs ago. But, my mailing address is perfectly fine.
Do, I need to contact CIC to get the address changed or can I change it myself where is says Update the Address..
If so, it won't mess up anything right..?

Don't know at what step you are, but if a wrong or incomplete address is showing on the left like on my wife's it was (when the mailing address was fine) it could mean CIC might have wrong information in part of their system. Better to call them to clear that out. We did update our mailing address trhough ECAS at some point in 2012 when we moved and we received all the correspondance fine after that. However we discover last friday after calling why the PR card was taking forever to come, that there was no address provided for my wife...when the mailing address was complete and accurate.
Better call in any case...

Well, I am on Step 2 where my wife application has gone to New Delhi, India and waiting for the call for the passport.
