Wrong address on IMM1017 Medical Form

Hi Guys,

My address of residence has changed but IRCC did not account for it.

Now they sent me an IMM1017 medical form to redo my medical visit as part of my expired COPR renewal.

The address stated in the IMM1017 is my old address.

Do you think I must notify them now and wait for them to reissue a new form with the correct address? or can my doctor correct the address by hand on the form, and I re-notify IRCC of my change of address when I send the signed medical form back to them?

Hey,

I suggest giving IRCC a call asap - agents can confirm & change your address on the phone. It’s usually immediate but make sure to ask for a timeline.
You can always submit a webform.
They will also answer whether you need a new medical req form or not.

To my knowledge, having an incorrect address on your IMM1017 wouldn’t amount to much if IRCC has that same address everywhere else too.
I’m not sure how much authority dr’s have to change information on your IMM1017..

I got the IMM1017 request from IRCC, and I follow the instruction to complete my medical test.
Just out of curiosity, after I finish the test, how long will it take for IRCC to update my profile?

I contacted the VO and they updated the address. But I remember that they also said it wasn't a big deal anyway.
