Timelines for reprocessing are different than for normal processing, but I do agree with you that anyone who has a question should contact their MP rather than write some sort of complaint letter to the Minister.
Go through your MP's office. Make sure they know your case has gone beyond the maximum processing timeline so that they don't think you're just wanting them to make a general inquiry into how long it's going to be, like most people do because they don't read the info on the CIC website and they have no idea how long processing is supposed to take. Your MP needs to know what you know about normal processing time for your embassy - and that the embassy has exceeded that and you still haven't heard from them.
In the meantime - were there any "issues" with your application? Were additional documents or information requested? Was an interview scheduled? All of these things can add time to what is posted as a "normal" processing timeline, so be sure you know that there is
no reason whatsoever that there should be any delay before you start complaining.
Is June 2009 when you first submitted the application to CPC-M or when Islamabad received it at the embassy and started processing? You can't count from when you submitted the ap - you have to start the count from when the embassy got the file. June 2009 is just
now 14 months, and again, if there were any additional docs requested or an interview scheduled, that will delay processing
i filled in june 4 2009 and they recieved it on june 10 ...they started processing my application on july 10 2009 and approved on july 14 2009
