wp extension decision response delay

Hi,
My employer applied for WP extension ( without LMO, as LMO is in process since last 5 month, didn't received yet) on March 5th' 14 as my current wp expired on 8th March14.
But, now going to more than 2 months but didn't receive any response from CIC for WP extension and today I checked on CIC processing time link that CIC working on 18th March received application but ideally my application should be received between 5-7th March.

I am just worrying that whether CIC have received my application or not because we applied through paper application.
What can be the possible reason for wp extension decision delay? I asked to employer they just saying that we didn't receive any response yet.

Please provide your expert opinion.

Hi

CIC is waiting for the LMO; they won't process your extension without it.

As it has already been more than 2 months since CIC received your extension app and the LMO has still not been approved, the app may be refused soon.

You must contact our Call Centre with the LMO/CAQ confirmation number within 2 months of the date your application was received; otherwise your application could be refused.
