WP and OPW Question

Hi all I am presently applying a my work permit and an open work permit for my husband and I was wondering anyone did them together and got approve and also one of the document required under the OWP is Purpose of Travel - Other. What do I upload there if I am applying for an OWP.

Next question my passport is due to expire April 2019 will that affect how long the permit is granted for?

In purpose of travel you can upload a letter explaining that you are applying for the OWP based on your WP, and as you are providing docts supporting your WP application, I guess that would be fine.
Both WP will be issue until April 2019, so if you want to save time and work I would recommend that you renew it before applying.
