Submit passports to the Canada Visa Application Centre in Bangkok
For address, service hours, and instructions for how to submit passports through the
Canada Visa Application Centre in Thailand, visit this website:

Canada Visa Application Centre
The Trendy Office Building, 10/198-201, 28th Floor,
Sukhumvit Soi 13, Klongtoey-Nua,
Wattana,Bangkok 10110

I also failed to read the details on the Canada Visa Center about how to send passports and how to pay... That had not been made clear in the letter from Singapore... Oh well...

Yes, that is VFS Global. It is how they prefer you send the passport. I recieved the same letter and sent my wife’s passport through the same service in Jakarta.

All my fault really, I should have read all the details on the website, ie: how to send passport. But I was unaware of this. My fault. Apologies to Bangkok and Singapore Immigration people.

No, I don't own land or have large assets. Both my Thai wife and I have university degrees, both are active professionally, with good reputation. All that probably helps. In any case, we will move to Canada as soon as we sell car and bicycles, get the cats ready, get rid of garbage. So I think that 3 weeks to a month will be time to move. I'm happy, but I will miss Thailand, I know.
I 100% understand you. Thailand is a wonderful country :) been there 4 time (2x 2 weeks and 2x 1 month) and I miss Thailand. Me and my wife plan to go back Thailand for Christmas 2017.Until then I'll keep all my leave and I'll take them all for this trip :)
Congrat, 4.5 month to get approoved is quick :)
As other said you'll have 1 year after you did medical to land in Canada. Good luck

OK. Not so fast please...

A glitch...

Three months ago, I emailed online a change in my application: the principal applicant's daughter, will be accompanying rather than non-accompanying (as per the original application). IRCC acknowledged the change and wrote that they would "notify the responsible office".

Now, our application is almost processed in Singapore, and I get a message saying that the Singapore office never received from CPC Mississauga notice of a change in my application.

This is getting complicated.

So, I emailed the change again, and sent a letter to Mississauga, asking them to please inform Singapore.

Maybe it will take 28 months after all.

You should of sent a case specific enquiry to Singapore not CPC-M

I did inform Singapore quite in detail, but they said the change must be sent (or inputed in the system) by Mississauga.
