my mom is in canada for almost two years and 2 months this time. and she will file for immigrant this coming march 2011. I'm 23 years old and im done with my studies and im currently working at one of the call center here in cebu city. I turned 23 last oct 2010. But due to the requirements for my mom to include me in the sponsorship i need to enroll again for another bachelor degree and i did just this start of the second semester last nov. However, im still working and the same time attending my class which i recently enrolled in one of our institute here. My prob is, i've been paying my taxes for almost 4 months in a row because i started working last aug 2010. so would that be a problem of my sponsorship?? would they check my BIR?? how could i possibly solve this one?? should i stop?? please advise...

Not sure what a BIR is, but if the requirement is you are a full-time student in order to qualify as a dependent, and you are enrolled in classes, as well as working, I really don't think that is a problem. Many of us here in Canada are enrolled in 'full-time' studies, as well as working full time. It shouldn't be a problem.

thanks for letting me know that this wouldnt be a problem in my part. at this time. im afraid that they might find out that im paying taxes therefore they wont consider me as dependent to my mom. so if this wouldnt be a problem so theres no need for me to stop working to be a full time student?. i only have 9 units for this semester maximum of 3 subjects . do i need to load more subjects for them to realize that i am full time student??.. please help me...
