Hi! The six occupation that are no longer in CEC are cooks. chef, meat cutter, baker, butcher and fishmongers are all directed in FSTP now. So you are qualified to enter in EE. As long as you are currently working inside Canada with working permit with valid LMIA you are guarantee of 600 points provided you have reach 1 year experience working.Alice67 said:6 job title would not be accepted in the CEC since Nov,2013.
Under express entry, these 6 job title would be accepted or not?
Thank you.
Never "behind the scenes". Applicants will be informed as they are informed in Australian system (which has been copied for EE).The selection of candidates with "in demand" occupations will be done behind the scenes.

What you said doesn't make sense at all! Those 6 occupations will be allowed under CEC!Nebm31 said:Hi! We could not know it for sure now. CIC still could have a list of preferable occupations. Those 6 occupations will be allowed under CEC!
As of now there is no such list!! Therefore those 6 occupations are eligible.Regina said:We could not know it for sure now. CIC still could have a list of preferable occupations.

CIC will specifically tell you to apply under what category. CEC or FSWP. That is not your headache anymore. Just make sure you are eligible for either CEC or FSWP.APNE said:I am looking for same answer but did't get yet.if these ocupation got Ita ,are they eligible to apply in cec or not.
Already answered in this thread, in other threads, and by CIC on their website.APNE said:I am looking for same answer but did't get yet.if these ocupation got Ita ,are they eligible to apply in cec or not.
We are both wrong. Only cooks that I stated above are not qualify under CEC. Apologies.Phil89 said:What you said doesn't make sense at all! Those 6 occupations will be allowed under CEC!
Nebm31: you are quoting everything from the previous rules. Those rules do not apply when Express Entry comes into effect. Here's the new policy update mentioning that on Jan 1st, 2015 they are removing all those restrictions on the three streams.(FSW,FST,CEC).Nebm31 said:We are both wrong. Maybe this will come to your senses.
source: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/index.asp#mi15Ministerial Instructions 15 (MI15): Instructions for Managing Certain Permanent Resident Applications in the Economic Class
Effective January 1, 2015, the fifteenth set of Ministerial Instructions (MI15) will repeal all processing eligibility criteria (including the application caps and eligible occupation lists) for new applications in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class. This repeal will not affect the actual processing of applications received prior to January 1, 2015, and considered under MI12. From January 1 onwards application intake will be governed by the criteria for the new Express Entry application management system.
MI15 will renew the pauses on the receipt of new applications for the Federal Immigrant Investor Class and the Federal Entrepreneur Class. These pauses will remain in effect until further notice.
Thanks for the information. But I will be in FSTP if invited.kvn said:Nebm31: you are quoting everything from the previous rules. Those rules do not apply when Express Entry comes into effect.
