Would PR with valid PRTD be rejected entering Canada at the border?

If the PRTD is expiring in May 2017, and PR is returning back to Canada in April 2017. The residency obligations have been met with 775 days living in Canada in past 5 years.

Would it possible that PR is rejected from entering Canada and go back to home country when landed at airport?

I was told by a immigration consultant that it could be very possible, and even after arrived in Canada, it would be not possible to have the new PR card renewed in 6 months.

Just want to double check to get more opinions on this and confirm this could highly happen.

This is what matters. The PR card and PR travel documents are just documents that let you cross the border - they have nothing to do with your status.

Absolutely not. You have right of entry. You might get reported if you violated the Residency Obligation, at which point you could appeal the loss of status. Meet the obligation, and you're fine. If they think you might have violated, then you can have a hearing, but if you can prove you meet the obligations, your status is not in jeopardy.

That's true. Cards can take a while. If you need to travel soon, apply for a Travel Document - they are faster.

If the PR can leave the Canada after waiting for PR card for 6 months, can he/she apply another travel document to come back again? (Basing on the fact that the residency obligation is always met that living in Canada for 2+ years in past 5 years any time)

You can apply for PR TD as often as you like, as long as each time you meet the RO as of the day you apply for it.

As a Permanent Resident, you are not a prisoner. You are free to leave the country as often as you like. You are also free to return as long as you keep your status.

Airlines, however, are not permitted to fly you to Canada without proof of your status, which is going to be either the PR card, or a PR travel document.

By law, if you are a holder of permanent resident status, you are entitled to a proof of status document. You can apply for as many PR travel documents as you want. When you apply, they will look at your residency history, and if you do not meet the requirements, you may lose your status.

I was concerning about it because I was told that it takes quite long time for CIC to suspect and verify your status (very longer than you expected) before they confirm your status and issue you new PR card. Even though I can be 100% sure proving my status with my provided documents, they may have different conclusion (much less days than your calculation in RO) that can hold your application (either PR or PRTD) much longer than expected, which may impact on your ability for future scheduled travels. Just want to make sure it doesn't bring too much complexities on it.
