Would my wife get more points if I am already a PR?

My wife is applying for her permanent residency. Her score is 473 but when she mentions in CrS tool that her spouse(me) is a PR then her score gets to 498 provided I have a 8 CLB score.

Her EE profile still says 473. So I am just confused as to if spousal scores are added then when does updated score reflect on the profile? After ITA?

Why she has to apply under EE?

Why not family sponsored?

Family sponsorship will take time. CEC won’t take as long.

She cannot get any points from you since you are already a PR.

Family sponsorship will take time. CEC won’t take as long.

CEC will only work for her if the draws drop to 473 or if she can increase her score on her own. Again, she cannot get any points from you.
