Would getting low income pass damage my chances of PR?

Hi,

I'm on a student visa. I applied for EE but I have ITA yet.

I want to apply for a low income transit pass. If I get this, would the CIC agents know? Would it damage my chances of getting a PR because it's similar to welfare?

I dont see why it would matter.

It has no effect on your score or anything else that is part of the express entry system.

As long as you qualify for the low income transit pass, go for it.
