Hello, I am 17 years old and I'm hopefully going to study for my diploma in Montreal, Quebec.
Now, back in 2002/2003 my father has applied for a permanent resident and we got it, but we left Canada and it expired in 2008.
Would a lawyer be able to get on a case to renew it for me after I've been in Canada to study as an international student for a year or two?
Maybe standing to the point that I was young when we left and I had no consent of it? Or that I'd have been already been in Canada for years.
I know that it's not really covered by the law to have it renewed after so many years, but maybe with the power of a good paid lawyer it can be done?
