Hello, I had transfd my funds for GIC on 20th Nov and had a word with thier executives today and they were saying that I wont be able to file the visa coz they will get my money on 2nd December i.e after 8 working days but the problem is that I had a word with VFS Global people regarding this and they were also saying that the last date for applying visa for jan 2015 intake is st December. I am very worried asI have come right away from New Zealand to file the student visa for Canada after completing 6 months of job search visa in New Zealand.

if you ask me the vfs is right after getting your gic you can apply for may intake. (or if u would have already applied in university so so you can ask them to provide you a deferal letter so even then if there were not enough time you can start your intake in may) but that's not your case i belive.
after reciving your gic certificate apply for may intake so that there is a chance for you to get an early visa.
or if you have not transfer your money for gic now then you can skip it and pay the fee of 1st semster to the uni & they will give you the recipte in one or two days after reciving your fees. so then you have a chance to apply for you to apply.

Hi all, Am new to this forum and yes am worried. Submitted an application for an M.Eng (Mechanical Engineering) program at the university of Victoria and am on the process of getting a supervisor. Well, so far it seems to be a very difficult one considering the competition but am determined to beat that competition. Need serious help. Cant afford not to be admitted. Thanks

Those guys who have got there VISA OR who have received e-mail of passport dispatched from visa office to visa application centre, Have you guys got any e-mail with something attached with it like visa clearance paper. Attached with this mail or any other. Please guys tell and Seniors also tell about your status when you applied have you got anything attached with mail....??
