Worried About Student Visa - Pakistan

Hi All! I applied for my student visa from Pakistan. I got acceptance from YORK university in BAS program. My brother also graduated from the same university in past april 2013. I applied on 23rd of dec(which was late as my classe started on 6th of Jan) because of univeristy's delay in giving me correct Letter of Acceptance.. Anyway, I got my medical call on the 24th of January and I finished my medical on 30th of January. However,I got a call from the embassy on the 8th of feb stating that everything is clear on my file, but they just require a new letter of acceptance which states I am enrolled in the next session. They told me it was too late to join this session as the application was under review so it was better if I go for the next term. Then I asked will it take much time to give a decision after I submit, and they told me NO, it wont take much time after that. I submitted my updated Letter of Acceptance 2days ago. Still, no reply. I am worried that is my case going towards refusal? Please share your respected views.

Usually it takes time to get deferred LOA from the university. Now you have provided it to the embassy. They will issue you your visa in next issuing series. As they issued VISAs today. We also received medicals on 24th (me and Fahad) and we both got our VISAs today. You will get it in a week or two Insh'Allah.

Usually it takes time to get deferred LOA from the university. Now you have provided it to the embassy. They will issue you your visa in next issuing series. As they issued VISAs today. We also received medicals on 24th (me and Fahad) and we both got our VISAs today. You will get it in a week or two Insh'Allah.

Thanks a lot Usman! Bro, Usually the next series will be in a week or two? Are u sure? Because I think my session is the next one now, so maybe they will issue my visa late? Thats what i am concerned about.

Yaar the truth is we can never be sure when it comes to CHC. Some guys are waiting for there medical call and visa since OCT 2013. And we who applied in Jan have already been issued so u see no one knows what goes on in CHC.

Yes this is final that we can't predict the timeline.
What i said in above post is by my analysis from their calls of JAN and FEB. Like if they issued visas today then they will again issue next in couple of days later, etc...

But your case is done as you explained. You will get it shortly Insh'Allah

Do not worry. You will get visa soon. It is still 2+ months till May. And they are ready to issue it to you. Otherwise they would not ask for a new LOA but just reject.

Just remember, Canada is a relaxed country. NOTHING happens here fast. ECPESSIALY when you deal with the government.

Remember about this when you come to Canada and it will help you not to become frustrated with slowness of life in here.

Atleast better than Pakistan here nothing happens at all ESPECIALLY when u deal with the government.
