Worried About Student Visa - Pakistan

Hi All! I applied for my student visa from Pakistan. I got acceptance from YORK university in BAS program. My brother also graduated from the same university in past april 2013. I applied on 23rd of dec(which was late as my classe started on 6th of Jan) because of univeristy's delay in giving me correct Letter of Acceptance.. Anyway, I got my medical call on the 24th of January and I finished my medical on 30th of January. However,I got a call from the embassy on the 8th of feb stating that everything is clear on my file, but they just require a new letter of acceptance which states I am enrolled in the next session. They told me it was too late to join this session as the application was under review so it was better if I go for the next term. Then I asked will it take much time to give a decision after I submit, and they told me NO, it wont take much time after that. I submitted my updated Letter of Acceptance 2days ago. Still, no reply. I am worried that is my case going towards refusal? Please share your respected views.

Be patient u will get reply soon Insh'Allah give them some time. How did u submit your application by VAC or online?

buddy ur case if ok but after submitting new LOA it usually take upto a month, so be patient it not like one or two day stuff atleast a month... ok good luck,

buddy ur case if ok but after submitting new LOA it usually take upto a month, so be patient it not like one or two day stuff atleast a month... ok good luck,

rejection chances are 1 in 10000, hope u r not he 1 unlucky,, LOL!! don't worry ur visa is confirmed, If they have asked u updated LOA it means they want to give u visa, many applicants those who have applied in november got rejection in feb,, and they were not asked for LOA, Did u send the scanned LOA?

First LOA was sent with application. The new they asked me to send VIA email. So I did.

ok good, chances of visa are 100% ok. but it will take time upto a month,,

Thanks Btw, is there any law in canada for entry before classes? Like in United States U cant enter before 30 days of the date of your first class.. so is there the same law in canada? Or we can enter whenever visa is issued?

nope there is no law like this but of course if u go 4 months before ur classes this will be suspicious, u can go 2 months before ur classes at maximum,, but i will advise u to go 4 to 6 weeks before classes not more than that....

Okay Thats cool Btw, I just looked on your profile.. your visa was issued 2 months after medical? Thats long isnt it?

yup its long but it was a rush hour, and my classes were starting on jan 6 may be thats why they issued it late,,

Lol, my classes starting in may... then they will give me late as well.. But the operator who called me, she said; After updated Letter Of Acceptance, we wont take much time.

Damn, this confusion lol
