Hi All,
I have my citizenship application forms signed April 26th when I completed them. Two weeks after this I wouldn't have met the minimum amount of time spent in Canada so it was right timing for me to apply. I wouldn't meet this criteria now if I were to start the application now.
However, between the police certificate being lost and reissued, I mailed off my application June 26th, probably arrived a few days later in the processing center.
Still haven't heard anything but I'm just wondering if I completely wrong but the citizenship site states that the "application will be returned if dated more than 90 days before we receive it". If this 90 days is before when it is received then I should be good, right? But if this is 90 days before they start processing (probably in the next week or two judging from the spreadsheet), then the date on my forms will be over 90 days?
Has anyone any advice on this or been through something similar with their citizenship application - or am I simply over thinking this?
Thanks in advance.
