Workplace sold/changed name etc while implied status

Hi, Iam just in a position were I have no idea what to do.

My boss sold his whole company to a nother company, we will change our name and everything. My workvisa is linked to my boss/our old name but will expire May 7th. I applied already for Spousal Sponsorship and a open workpermit.
Usaly I would have implied status till I hear back, but now with a new boss/company everything changes. Am I still allowed to work?

I got the news about the selling just now and have tomorrow morning an kind of interview with our new boss.
Can somebody tell me, if there is anything I can do or need to do?

hi , i just phoned a canada help line and was only a 5 minute wait ... the number was 1 888 282 2100 .. its usually for submitted applications but i just asked my question and was helped with no problem ... good luck ..
