Hi everyone!
My working holiday visa is about to expire at the end of April and I am planning to apply for an extension as a visitor. I would like to travel around Canada and I would need around 5-6 month for my plans. Do you think the best way to go is via online or regular mail application? Do they sometimes limit the time you can be as a visitor here to less than six months?
Thank you!

Its the same. Online goes faster though.

Yes, they can give it for as little as a few weeks to as much as a year. That depends on each case. There is no "fixed 6 months" kind of thing.

Re: Working holiday - extension as a visitor

Thank you.
I have another question...do you have to submit your application 30 days before your status expires or can I do that for example 10 days before it expires? I am planning to get as much time as possible to stay here so I am talking about sending in a paper application. Thanks!

As long as CIC receives it before your status expires that is OK.

Pushing the rules is not advised.
