Hey everyone.

I was wondering how working in Canada works once someone gets accepted. Once you have PR are you allowed to start working like a normal Canadian citizen? Or do you need to apply for anything else before you're able to work?

All you have to do is apply for a SIN number once you land and that is all you need to do to be able to work :)

And depending on airport/ time of day you can apply for a SIN at the same time as initial landing assuming Service Canada desk is open.
Yeah, this is if you're landing at Toronto Pearson. Otherwise, there are service Canada offices in every reasonably sized town across Canada.
