- Yes I filed my income taxes. I received approximate 73 dollar. This is not significant amount I know. However, it is good to file your tax regularly in Canada. I guess there is no category for tax Just file your tax like the Canadian citizens. Make sure that you mention that you are paying your tuition fees. As a student that is important. I guess everything will be clear to you once you start filling out the tax forms.
