Hi,

I currently half two part time jobs which are both great and are a great start to my career here. However, in September I am going back to school to finish the last year of my program and i am well aware that i am only allowed to work maximum 20 hrs/week during school session.
Just out of curiosity, what could possibly happen if i would end up working more than 20 hrs/ week during school session? Would it affect my status in Canada in anyway?

Thanks

Yes it could. If CIC finds out that you are working more than the legal limit your student visa could be canceled and you could be asked to leave the country.

No, you can't average the hours. If you work more than 20 hours in any week, it is illegal, regardless of what hours you work in other weeks.

It should be max 20hrs/week when in school, not more than that.

You won't see the affect right away unless CIC find it somehow.
But later in future when you will be using this as a Canadian work experience to apply your PR they will definitely find your work hours from the payslips/employment history which will be really bad for your PR application. even though you don't apply in CEC but still you are doing something which you are not allowed to..

Hello,
If i cant pay my semester tuition fees (i paid only for 1st semester)
Can i take a break from the school and work to get some money to pay for tuition ?
If not, what are the possible options if i am in a situation where i cant afford the tuition anymore due to some problems back home.
Please your help will be appreciated...

No, you can't take a break and work. That would be illegal. If you can't afford your schooling, you need to leave Canada and re-apply when you have sufficient funds.

Agreed with the above. You cannot take a break and work. If you do that, you'll be working illegally and will also fall out of status in Canada. If you cannot pay your tuition and need to work, then you either need to return home. Or you need to find an employer willing to give you a full time job and also able to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.
