Working more than 20 hours/ week as a student

Hi everyone,
Is there anyone here working more than 20 hours/ week when you were a student and then had troubles when applying PGWP or PR?
I worked more than 20 hours in some weeks. Is there any chance if CIC would check my application and find out about that when I apply for PGWP?

It is illegal if you work more than 20 hours in a week when you are an international student, Moreover have you ever received any warning from CRA regarding working more than 20 hours ? If not then you must be fine and stop working more than 20 hours if you are still working

Yes, international students who had worked more than they were allowed too had faced refusals in their PGWP applications. You must prepare yourself when you file for PGWP as well.

If you have worked for more than 20 hours, stop doing it now. You dont want to increase your problems.

I also worked around 25 hrs per week, some weeks only, but i got my pgwp.

Few times, by mistake, is fine & can be explained if they ask. Don't keep doing it. Make sure it is always less than 20.

How many weeks u did 25??? like 1 or more time?? i hv never seen someone got in trouble!!!
I think they dont even check unless someone complains about it
