Try fast food jobs like Subway, KFC or Tim Hortons.

Best of luck

What are you qualified to do? What did you do in your home country before relocating.

Don't mean to be rude, but do you really not know what is meant by local supermarket or a job centre?

I think that was steaky being a little `cheeky'. ;)

There are plenty of non-skilled labour jobs around, if you're physically capable of doing the work. Moving companies always need helpers and the pay is usually higher than working in a warehouse or restaurant.

I guess it really depends on what the OP is trained to do or wants to do. I know it can be a bit of a let down when you move to the land of 'opportunity' and find that the skills you had at home are in abundance and/or your training and qualifications aren't recognised.

Nothing worse than working in a professional role outside of Canada and finding that the only jobs you can take are stacking shelves and moving houses.
