Hi Mates,

I am an international student, arrived in September'2017. As we all know, we only can work 20 hours per week( as per CIC website). But i didn't/couldn't work above said hours till December 2017, i mean i was hardly working a week or two per month.

So fortunately i have a stable part time job now. Can i work 21-25 hours now, as i didn't work in the past?

I would appreciate any useful information.

Regards,

Absolutely not. The maximum you can work is still 20 hrs/week. Good Luck!
I appreciate your response. Another quick question: Does Canadian Immigration calculates working hours on average or they check each and every week in past one year?

It’s not an average....it’s 20 hours per week. Not 20ish hours per week! If you work more than 20 hrs/wk, you are working illegally. Think about how that would impact your future plans before you do something silly.
