Hi,
I am over here on a 1 year working holiday visa and its runs out in about 2 months, I have a masters degree and I do qualify above the points limit, if I apply for this while im still here can I stay on and work while it is being assessed, I have a job here but because of the current economic climate my employer isnt willing to apply for an LMO or go through the PNP process as they both require that Im offered a permanent employment offer, they have however said I can stay with them for another while if I can find my own way to change my visa status, anyone got any advice or had a similar experience?
Thanks

1. Unless you can get an LMO you cannot continue to work.
2. Do you have experience in one of the 38 jobs on the "list" http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2008/2008-11-28a.asp if not you don't qualify for FSW1
3. To apply under FSW 3 you require a full year of skilled work in Canada.

Hello,

I understand that it is easy for people in occuptations of high demand (e.g. University professors) to find work in Canada, what about for the rest of the population? I am a fresh graduate (Human Resource Management) lacking the experience. I mean... my job prospects would likely be bartending and other types of hospitality jobs is that correct?

I am also here on a working holiday visa and have 3 months left on it. My employer's have offered me a permanent position and are currently applying for an LMO.

I plan on submitting my FSW application before my working holiday visa runs out. Do I still need to apply for a temporary work permit to continue working for the company after my working holiday visa runs out?

Thanks in advance
