Working Holiday Visa expiring soon. Need help on how I can stay in Canada!?

OK, so lets start with the facts.

I'm a British Citizen.
I arrived in Canada May 2008.
I have a 1 year Working Holiday Visa (which expires May 6th 2009).
I have a Permanent Full-Time Job in Canada.

What is the best way for me to extend my stay in Canada?

When I first arrived in Canada it was with intention to stay and work for around 6 months. Shortly after arriving I got a job working in a SportChek store as a Part-Time Service Shop Technician, but after a few months in the job, after the position opened up, I was made Head Technician and given a Full-Time contract, as well as being fully trained up and certified as a Ski Technician. I have now succesfully been running the Service Shop for several months and have come to enjoy the job alot. Also during my time in Canada I have entered into a serious relationship with a Canadian Citizen. So I now wish to continue living and working in Canada beyond the length of my current visa. How can I do this? I dont want to marry my partner just for the sake of getting a visa or residency.

Province?

You would need to get an LMO and apply for a regular work permit if you wanted to stay. It is harder to get LMO's now in this day and age so if you were refused that, another option would be to get an arranged employment offer, as long as what you do is considered a skilled position which it might, being head of something is always good. Depending on the provincial nominee program where you live, you might be able to apply for immigration with the AEO and get permanent residency. It's not like any of this will happen instantly so you may have to go back for a while or change your status to visitor if you can afford to stay without working.

BC has a good PNP program so that means that if you can get an AEO for your job, you would be able to apply to immigrate. I am sure BCguy can tell us all about that.

To be a skilled job, the 1st digit of the 4 digit code has to be 0 or the 2nd digit has to be 1,2 or 3.

Ski Technician probably going to be hard to prove that it is a full time job.

But it was a FULL TIME POSITION He accepted and He was made head technician which is supervisory.I called my buddy who is one of the program adviser s in BC PNP and He said if the file went to him,He would most probably approve him if all his ducks were also in order

First of all, the information you are giving me is such a help and really appreciated!

With regards to Ski Technician query, that is merely an additional skill I have recieved since arriving in Canada. my main job is with Bikes and something I have being doing in a Supervisory role since the age of 18 (so 6 years now). Using the link Leon gave me above, I have found the job code which matches this position i hold, which I believe qualifies me as a skill worker?

3-4 months But 2 nurses I assisted last 2 months got their nomination in 6 weeks and A Korean whose Boss is close to my boss got hers in 24 days
