I am traveling in south east Asia and I only have 3 weeks left before my conditional acceptance letter expires.
So it's important that I can finalize the application one of the next days.

I have created a myCIC account, and I am close to uploading all files (4 documents I believe. My CV, some questionnaire about me, an overview of my family members and some other file) but I noticed that the files need to be verfied with signatures which I can not do online obviously

The files are in pdf

should I print all files, sign all files manually, take a picture of the files and upload them again afterwards?
That's a hassle where I am now, in a 3rd world country

It's pretty urgent

thanks a lot

If it is a file that can be validated. (Look for the validate button) Then you don't have to print them. There is a part that says by typing in your name and the date it serves as your signature. all you have to do is save that and your good to go.

I did hit the validate button, and it created some bar code.
I read about not having to sign it, but I'm kinda paranoid about uploading it and it not being sufficient.
I only have a couple of weeks left before my conditional letter of acceptance is valid, and it would be a disaster if I get rejected for it

Trust me it will be sufficient. If you hit the validate button and red texts appear that means there are some parts that were answered incorrectly and the res texts will appear on the sections you did wrong. Otherwise since barcodes have appeared when you pressed the validate button that means you did it right.

Basically the rule of thumb is that when a form is validated you should NEVER write anything on it manually otherwise the validation will be invalid. the barcode is generated exactly on what it is written on the form electronically. Therefore if something is written manually even just a signature it will not reflect on the barcode, therefore they will not match.

Do you get that point?

I do. However, there is no validation tab on the sheet that summarizes my family members so I'll have to print that.
I'll send it tomorrow

In case something goes wrong. Does my application get canceled when my conditional acceptance letter expires (3 weeks from now) ?

I don't know how long it takes to process. But I really can't afford failure in the application.
I am taking a break from traveling now to prepare for Canada
