A 24 year old is here in Canada on the Working Holiday visa which allows him to stay up to 24 months and work temporarily while he is here to support his trip. Is there a way for him to eventually get Permanent Residence here? Is there a way to leap frog into PR (besides marrying a CDN)
Can he extend his 24 month trip once he is here? I read that you can only apply for working holiday once and then thats it.

Thanks in advance,
Verm

A few options for him to stay longer:
1. Apply for PR through EE. He might be eligible for FSW if he has previous work experience or he will be eligible for CEC after getting 1 year full time work experience in Canada in NOC 0, A or B.
2. Find employer who is willing to get LMIA for him. Based on this LMIA he can apply for closed Work Permit.
3. Consider studying in Canadian college or university (he would need to apply for study permit). After completion of study he would be eligible for Post Graduate work permit (up to 3 years depends on the length of college/university program).
