Hi,
I have a couple of doubts related to the Express Entry Process.

1.- There is a questions that says: Is JOSE's job offer from the employer named on the current work permit?
I assume the answer should be NO, since my PGWP says Employer: ANY.
Am I correct?

2.- The next question says: Has JOSE been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?).
I assume the answer should be NO, since again, my PGWP says Employer: ANY.
Am I correct?

3.- Finally, my last question is: I worked full-time (Contract basis, 35 hours/week) from May 2nd, 2016 to March 31st, 2017 in a NOC A. I started my current job on April 3rd, 2017, full-time (Permanent, 40 hours/week), also NOC A.
My question is, does the combination of Canadian Jobs (Canadian Experience) apply to have one (1) year Canadian Work Experience?

Thanks in advance for your strong support,

Incorrect. Q1 and Q2 should be no as you don't have an employer on your work permit.

He shouldn't even be answering those questions as they do not apply to him (as he does not have a valid job offer).

Answer "no" to the very first question in the intended work section and all other questions will disappear.

Not true. If you have a PGWP all of these questions are there.

I did as well and had to answer those questions. First question is "Is X currently working in Canada?" to which answer is YES. Second one is "Does X have a valid work permit for the current job in Canada?" to which you answer YES if you have PGWP. After this the rest of the questions are still there. If you are not working then the answer to the first question is NO which means you don't have to answer the rest.

We're talking about different sections, I was talking about the intended work section asking if the applicant has a valid job offer.

If he answers "yes" to the very first question asking if he/she has a job offer eventually he will have placeholders for "offer of employment" and "letter of employment" which do not apply to him as he's working on a PGWP.

That's correct. We are talking about two different question. First one is about "valid offer" which should be no. Then there are the questions I mentioned.

Thank you all for your support.

I'm still reading about a "valid job offer" but I believe I don't have one. I have a full-time permanent job, I had a contract-based full-time job, and I do have a PGWP that says Employer: ANY, and Employment Location: UNKNOWN.

Thank again, very helpful.

Hello

I know its late reply to your question, so I am also on PGWP. My work visa doesnt state any employer or LMIA. So technically I can work for any employer, so my question when you filled your EE profile for CEC
1)does.. have valid work permit for the current job
YES - am i correct
2)Is ..job offer from the employer named on the current work permite
What shuold I answer, YES or NO
3)Has .. been working full time for the employer on the current work permit at least once a year
YES- is that correct
4)Four digit NOC code in work permit
I dont have any NOC code, should I just put the NOC code under which I am applying
5)Was LMIA issued for current work permit
What should I answer so many option
YES
NO-my work permit is exempt frpm LMIA due to international agreement
NO-MY work permit is exempt from LMIA due to Federal Provincial agreement
NO-My work permit is is exempt for other reason and is employer specific

Why are there so many option to confuse. can you please help me answer these, what should I select. I am on Work permit that doesnt say any of this. I can work for any employer and they have never asked or requested an LMIA. What is this

Those questions do not apply to you. Answer "no" to the very first question and all other questions will disappear. You cannot have a valid job offer while working on a PGWP.

It is not a valid offer as you cannot claim the points 50/200 for arranged employment while working on a PGWP.

Having a job and working in Canada does not mean you have a valid job offer.
