Working from Home with PR for a US based Company?

Hi,

I got my Immigration Stamp in Aug and i will be flying to Canada in Jan 2016. I have a question (I already have the answer to but I just want to be sure). I got a job offer from a US Based firm to work from home in Canada as an account manager.

They will pay me in CAD but they don't have a Canadian office.

I assume this is allowed... I don't see why not....

I won't use this as proof of funds, I will show that I have enough money but I can work from home with my PR correct?

I don't see why this would be a problem. You will be a Permanent Resident when you land and you are free to work however you want to.

Please check from taxation point of view in canada and US both
