I am a US Citizen and work for a US company that manufactures very specialized products for the Mining, Energy and Industrial sectors as well as the Military. We currently are engaged in business within Canada. Our company may establish a satellite sales office in NW Ontario and choose myself to manage it. My question is this; Will my family and myself have the ability to become Canadian Citizens? Thank you for your assistance. ;)

No, working in a Canada doesn't qualify you to become a citizen.

Assuming that you are able to get a work permit to come to Canada in the first place, you would then need to qualify for Permanent Residency through one of the economic streams, like FSW, PNP or CEC. If you qualify for PR, that application process takes around a year, sometimes more.

After you become a PR, assuming the new Citizenship Bill will be approved this year, you would need to live as a PR in Canada for at least 4 years before you could qualify to apply for citizenship. At the moment, a citizenship app takes 2 or more years to process.

why 4 ? you mistake it.
Not a mistake. There's a very good chance a bill is going to be passed this year that will change the citizenship rules.

That is not possible. Then all the American workers who work for Walmart, Sears, Chevron, Burger King, A&W, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Ford, Chevy, Motorola, Microsoft, Apple, United Airlines, Delta, KFC, McDonald's, and HP can become Canadian Citizens?
