@B.patel Similar situation. US company have some operations in Canada. Registered only in Ontario. Have few employees in Canada. Want to work for them. Have a small office in Toronto. Will pay me through Canadian payroll. Will work physically from the office in Toronto. Aiming to apply for PR under CEC in 1 year. I assume this would count towards Work ex in Canada - Canadian experience class?

Good news for anyone in the similar situation. I am working for a Europe based organization who has no physical office in canada. I am a remote worker and my payroll was processed by my organization's accountant in Toronto. Last week I got my permanent residency approved using the same experience under CEC.

In short, If you are physically present in canada for work, You and your employer are paying taxes to canadian government. You are eligible for CEC.

Good Luck everyone.

Yes, it should count towards CEC. However, I am not an agent advising on immigration.

Hi,

Can you please let me know what address I should enter when filling the EE application? My company is in US, but I am getting paid by a PEO in Canada (it is called Trinet). Also, in my payrolls I can see the name of the company like this:

[COMPANY NAME] US, Inc. ON

Thanks

Hi Sahil, Thanks for clarifying many things here. One question -- What should I fill in Employer/company name - When filing the express entry profile. My T4 has PEO name but my paystub have US company's name.
