Hi All,

I have a question on total years of foreign skilled work experience. I am calculating my points for express entry, but do not know if I can count my working Exp in Malaysia since they are not continuous. Here is my working experience in Malaysia:
  • From June 2015 - Dec 2015: Mechanical Engineer - full time(6 months)
  • From Jan 2016 - March 2015: gap
  • From April 2016 - December 2016: Project mechanical engineer -full time (8 months)

With that said, Would I be eligible to have 1-year working experience in foreign work experience?

For CRS points purposes: yes, you can count one year of foreign work experience.

For qualifying for FSW: no, you do not qualify for FSW because you would need at least one year of continuous work experience.

This means you will only be able to create a profile if you qualify for CEC, but if you do you can count one year of foreign work experience.
regarding CRS Point, let say my first job is in NOC B, and my second job is in NOC A, would that be counted?
