I finished a program in 2014 and got accepted to a different school same year. I notified CIC and applied for a study permit extension, which got approved.
The question is: was the summer period (before the school starts) in this case considered a scheduled break, during which I was allowed to work full-time??

No cannot work in such a break given a scheduled break assumes same course same school. Changing schools and course is a fresh start.

Well, seems like I unintentionally broke that rule... How serious is that? What should I tell the immigration officer in this case? There was no informafion about it on the website

I am sure they know about it because I was extending my study permit two times since that. But all of them got approved anyways.
I am applying for pgwp right now-how would that impact my application? Should I tell them that in a letter? It honestly never crossed my mind I was doing something wrong!
