Working before school starts

Hi I’m grade 12 student currently going high school in Canada and have got an acceptance for college for 2018 fall term. I have applied for study permit extension and hoping its out short. My question is can I work with the new visa if I got my new visa while I’m attending high school here?

No you cannot work until you start college. Part time work is only allowed for international students who attend school at a college/university level and must be a full time student as well.

I doubt you can get a SIN while you are studying as a international student in high school

If you have obtain study permit for college studies then yes you can apply for SIN but you cannot work until you start school

To reiterate what has been said above, if you work before actually starting classes at college, you will be working illegally.
