Working as an insurance agent on study visa?????

Hi,

I am on study visa right now in Canada. I have a question - Is it good to work as an insurance agent while you are on study visa because this job has flexible hours and I can work for only 20hrs/week? How will my working hours are going to managed and by whom?

Please advice me.

Normally to be an insurance agent, you need to have some certifications. And it is not so easy to get those certificates.
However, there are some fraud companies who ask you to work for them to sell financial services. These companies are MLM-type structure. It may completely destroy all your future reputation or you even may be sued by someone and it can affect your future attempts to get a PR status.
I would not recommend to work for them
