Working after Graduation

My current passport is under renewal and recently I received my graduation documents. Will I be able to work part-time until I get my new passport and then apply for Post Graduate Work Permit? I'm an essential worker working in a retail store.

No. You cant work at all...until you apply for pgwp

Okay...Should I apply for PGWP based on the old passport? The validity is up to June 2022, but that passport is already sent for renewal. Will that be okay??

I would use current passport and apply to extend pgwp once receivee new passport. However if you receive your passport while your pgwp application is on process, update new information and boom you get full duration

If it s fine, I can go ahead...I have the copies of old passport, if my new passport arrives while PGWP application is in progress, do I have submit it through web form?

The validity of your PGWP will only be until JUNE 2022 since that is when your current passport is expiring.
To claim full validity of your PGWP, you will have to apply for extension of your PGWP by a paper application once you get your renewed passport.
And you can work full-time as long as you have applied for your PGWP.
