I am a business owner and i would like to get a visa for a person in Iran to work for me.
my company is a small company and it has two employees only.
can this be done? what do I need to do? any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. If temporarily, you would have to apply for a Labour Market Opinion from HRSDC after advertising the position for 2 weeks on the national job banks. You would have to demonstrate where the PRs/Canadians that applied for the position are not suitable as compared to the person you wish to hire. 2. If permanently, then you would have to apply for an Approved Employment Option from HRSDC , which basically says that you will employ the person full time, once they are a PR. See" http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/aehrdcassess.shtml
3. If you get an approved LMO the person would apply for a work permit overseas. see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp or if it is an AEO the person would apply for Permanent Residence see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-employment.asp

Adaptability Points

Hi PMM,

You mentioned earlier that 'work in Canada as a refugee claimant does not count in FSW'. What about adaptability, can an applicant claim 5 points for adaptability for working one year in Canada?
